Warranty

Most Gizmine products are covered by a one-year manufacturer warranty, except where noted. (Please note that most mobile phones are not covered by manufacturer warranty, but rather by CPS, a mobile phone warranty provider. Please see below for additional details.)

Most Gizmine products (NOT including special orders) are also covered by a dead-on-arrival replacement warranty. In these cases, if your purchase shows a defect within five (5) days, and as long as a product is still in new condition once received by, we will simply swap it for a brand new unit.

IMPORTANT NOTE: CPS mobile phone warranties are not part of the Gizmine Warranty and are serviced directly by CPS (not Gizmine). CPS is the final arbiter of all disputes and will charge for all repairs if they deem that any event that voided the warranty had occurred.

Gizmine IS NEITHER THE MANUFACTURER NOR WARRANTY PROVIDER and shall be held harmless for any actions of the manufacturer or warranty provider, including but not limited to: delays, defective products, or closure.

Gizmine will not be able to provide warranty in the event that the manufacturer or warranty provider ceases to conduct business, or for any reason voids it warranty service, or for any other reason fails to deliver on its warranty obligations.

Gizmine’s Warranty may at various times be referred to as simply "Gizmine Warranty", "Warranty", "Gizmine Warranty Service", "Warranty Service" or other similar names. All refer to the warranty described here, "Warranty". Gizmine offers only one version of the service.

Buyer acknowledges that Gizmine’s sole responsibility is to facilitate submission of defective product to an authorized warranty provider’s service center, in the event that it is available, and to cover the cost of EMS return shipping to the customer. Shipping cost coverage does not include any applicable duties or taxes.

If your item is returned for warranty repair and after inspection is found to be in working order (or in user error), you will be responsible for all freight and repair estimate fees.

Special order items include manufacturer warranty (except if noted otherwise). In the event that you require service, Gizmine will assist you in dealing with the manufacturer.

To receive warranty service, the item must be returned to us at the buyer’s expense. Gizmine will process warranty repair with the item’s manufacturer, and cover the cost of returning a unit to the buyer via EMS. (Please note that Gizmine does not cover the cost of any applicable duties and taxes that may have to be paid when the item is received.)

RETURNS FOR CREDIT:

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: many Gizmine products are extreme, obscure, or elite, and may not be returned. These product are indicated on our website as "special order", "final sale", or similar. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made for returns on products marked as final sale, special order, or similar. Please be sure to ask any questions that you may have prior to placing your order.

Products which are eligible for return must be initiated within five (5) days of receipt. Shipping is non-refundable. Minimum 15% restocking fee on all returns. Software or other items of intellectual property (opened or unopened) is not returnable. Items of intellectual property include, but are not limited to, video games, CDs, DVDs, books, magazines, publications, and calendars. Returns require a ReturnAuthorization ("RA").

Gizmine will not accept returns without prior authorization and an RA number. To receive an RA, please contact your sales representative or email sales@gizmine.com. Once issued, RA numbers are valid for seven (7) days. Products not shipped back within seven (7) days will not be accepted for a refund. RA numbers will not be extended or reissued. You are responsible for and must prepay all shipping charges and you assume all risk of loss or damage to products while in transit to Gizmine.

Returns must include all original equipment, including accessories, manuals, cables, documents, and packaging.

No physical damage (including cosmetic damage) to the equipment or packaging.

No modifications or actions taken which would void item warranty.

Returns must be shipped within a separate shipping box and with a trackable carrier – Do not affix shipping or address labels directly to the product’s packaging.

Customer should prominently display the RA number(s) on the shipping label of boxes containing the returned product. Please insure sufficient packaging is used to protect any return shipments. Customer is responsible for any damage caused due to insufficient packaging.

If you return a product to Gizmine without following these guidelines, Gizmine retains the sole right to either refuse delivery of such return or charge you an additional restocking fee. RA processing time may vary but is generally 2-3 business days after receipt.

REFUSED or RETURNED SHIPMENTS:

Shipments that are refused without authorization, that are not accepted, or that are returned to us because the address was invalid, are subject to a restocking fee of 15% plus applicable shipping and handling fees.

RETURNS FOR REPLACEMENT

Most products (not including special orders) are covered by a dead-on-arrival (DOA) replacement warranty. In these cases, if your purchase shows a warranty defect within five (5) days, and as long as a product is still in new condition once received in our office, we will simply swap it for a brand new unit.

Gizmine covers shipping for DOA units, but only when the unit is being returned for an identical replacement unit. If the unit is being returned for a credit/refund, a minimum 15% restocking fee will apply and the customer is responsible for return freight.

Under no circumstances is Gizmine responsible for customs fees or import taxes.

Please note that all returned items are inspected upon receipt. If we find customer abuse (such as a removed warranty sticker or a cracked LCD screen if applicable), we will charge the customer to refurbish the unit back to our refurbished spec. Also, if your DOA item is returned and after inspection is found to be in working order (user error), you will responsible for all freight and or/ a possible restocking fee on the DOA unit.

Gizmine and its affiliates (including "Gizmine.com" "Dynamism Inc" "Dynamism" or "Dynamism.com") ACTS ONLY AS A CONDUIT TO THE WARRANTY PROVIDER (the manufacturer except where noted) in its execution of its warranty processing; in any of, but not limited to, the following events, warranty providers will not repair items free of charge:
